Merry Christmas & Happy New Year From Landscape Folkartist

For Christmas decor this year, I made a decorative bottle and a paper tree.
Paper-folded Christmas tree and paper-covered bottle.
I wrapped the neck of the bottle with ribbon and ric-rack, and threaded on two plastic bead bears.
I cut out snowmen from my Christmas wrapping paper, and decoupaged them to the bottom 2/3 of the bottle.
I folded 4 magazines and glued them together to make the paper tree.
I added a purple, glitter bow and gold, metal angel ornament as the tree topper.
I am thrilled with how my paper Christmas tree and my paper-covered bottle turned out.  I like that the middle area of the bottle is clear.
I also expanded my folk art painting by framing two of them in thrift store picture frames.  My daughter spray-painted the mats silver. Here i s one of the framed paintings.
"Little Yellow House & 4 Trees" by Georgette Johnson, self-taught folk artist.
I expanded further by doing a mixed media self-framed painting of a folkart hen.
Penne, mixed media folkart painting by Georgette, self-taught painter.
I've been pretty busy this holiday season, as you can imagine, but my painting and crafting goes on.

Happy Holidays & Happy New Year

to everyone.
